Here are more photos of members of Gateway Senior High School's Class of 1967 who attended the opening reception of the class's weekend-long 60th Birthday Celebration on Friday, June 5, 2009.



Sharon Creighton Nebel and Dave Reese. This may have been the first reunion event either of them have attended, even though they both live in southwestern Pennsylvania. Hopefully, word will get out to other classmates in the area who have stayed away or been unreachable. Our class reunion events over the last couple of years have been awesome!

Judy Duffy Roman, right, didn't actually graduate from Gateway in 1967, but she's still considers herself a member of our graduating class. Her family relocated to Beaver County before she finished high school.

Kickoff for 60th Birthday Weekend

Nearly 60 members of Gateway's Class of '67 (plus some guests) met at D'Imperio's in Monroeville on Friday, June 5, to chat about old times and get caught up on what we've all be doing for the last 42 years.

Lou "Junior" Ventresco, standing in the background under a Gateway Gators Class of '67 banner, is finally leaving Gateway this year after 41 years as an employee of the school district.

In the photo on the right, Jack Cowell shares a story with Tom Gallo and his wife.

Stephen Walters, 1949-2007

Most of the information in Steve's obituary came from his wife and does not include much about his younger days. I would love to fill in the blanks, if anyone has information to share about what part of the Gateway school district he grew up in, what activities he was involved in at Gateway and what you remember about him as a person.

Gators Breakfast Club for Birthday Weekend as of May 30

Meetings of the Gators Breakfast Club with commence at 9 a.m. on the mornings of Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, at Denny's Restaurant, which is a short walk across the parking lot from Courtyard by Marriott.

We're doing this at Denny's rather than at the hotel because it's a better fit for a large group. Anyone who wants to start earlier can save us a table.

Classmates can come and go as they see fit. We'll be eating eggs, dishing out conversation and drinking in memories until 11 a.m. - maybe later!

This is not just for out-of-towners. All classmates are welcome to attend.
